Later, in 1965, the company's assortment was replenished with women's clothing, and eventually - with collections of silk items, accessories, bags, belts, men's clothing, and shoes. Fashion designer Salvatore Ferragamo has presented to the fashion world such creations as sheer nylon thread sandals, Kimo sandals, and summer shoes in 18K gold and metal soles. The brand also created the iconic accessory, the legendary Gancino bag. This model has been reissued in a variety of materials in different collections. The logo of the gancini brand clasp, which is found on the bag, was transferred to other Ferragamo creations: clothes, accessories, shoes, glasses. After the founder died in 1960, his wife and children continued to run the brand. Today the creative director of the company is Paul Andrew.
