Yves Saint Laurent is considered the king of famous fashion brands. Founded in 1961 by Yves Saint Laurent and his partner Pierre Berger, the brand offers premium pieces for every high-fashion lover. Yves Saint Laurent is remembered by the fashion world as the creator of revolutionary designs. With his 1966 Le Smoking design collection, men's tuxedos have entered the women's wardrobe and become one of the hottest trends. In addition to trouser suits, the couturier went down in history as the creator of high boots, denim dresses and of transparent blouses that are worn on the naked body. He offered wardrobe items made from natural fabrics in a safari style. The Saharienne lace-up jacket is still one of the iconic creations of the fashion house. Also, thanks to the great master, the double-breasted coat was presented in a new light. Today it forms part of almost every men's and women's wardrobe. Since 1998, various designers have worked on creating of the company's collections: Albert Elbaz, Tom Ford, Stefano Pilati, Hedi Slimane. In 2016 Anthony Vaccarello was appointed as the brand’s creative director. In keeping with the traditions, he added bold mini skirt, asymmetry and sexuality to the company’s catalogue. Today, Yves Saint Laurent products are more like works of art than simple fashion items, making them an excellent investment.
